The Scravsh, with their natural modularity, developed another survival skill so that they would not be completely defenseless when they were completely disarmed or their heads were separated from their bodies by long distances.

The “dreadlocks” on their heads are appendages with nerve extensions that serve as tentacles, strong enough to lift and move the head on their own and manipulate objects, as well as adhere to uneven surfaces without any problem, allowing any member of their species to move freely and interact without problems, even without their main limbs. In males, these retract to short tips when the head is attached to the body, and in females, they remain at their normal length at all times, appearing as long hair.

Although this is a last-resort defense mechanism when they do not have their bodies, Scravsh can move this way whenever they want and simply leave their bodies in a safe place to go in a more compact and lighter form in situations that require it or simply if they want to walk like this for a while. It is completely normal in their culture to walk like this and even to leave their bodies behind for certain tests or ceremonies, requiring only minimal amounts of food and water to stay energetic at all times. Or, as in this case, Wyven and Vret, who choose this form to explore narrow caves without getting stuck.
