I´m really happy that todays Villain Character is getting more and more love these days. "The Great Mouse Detective" is one of those wonderful underrated Disney Gems, that more people should see. And Maybe the best Character in the movie is hands down the villainous Professor Ratigan.
Top Notch Animation by the legendary Glean Keane and of course the great voice work of legendary Horror Icon Vincent Price. You can really hear how much fun Vincent Price had with this role. Every piece of dialog is full of evil glee. And again, the Animation is just wonderful to look at -especially near the end when Ratigan is loosing his mind and goes beserk.
