Taffy had invited Magnolia over to Sanctuary Island for some Macrobubble fun, and of course, she let Amethyst hear it and now she wanted in too. After the two of them had arrived, it was time for a short walk together to get Taffy's supply, while they conversed and talked about all the fun things they would do once they had grown and become giants.
“I will definitely be messing with Birch,” Magnolia said.
“I'll be taking Evircha on a huge stroll,” Amethyst added on. After making it to Taffy's little storage of bubblegum, she looked inside, grabbing the clearly marked Macrobubble wrappers and handing one to both of her friends, and taking one herself. As she was chewing and blowing bubbles, it took her a second to realize that it didn't taste right. When she looked around, everything else was larger, and not smaller.
“Hey, Mags?” Taffy said to get her attention. “I think someone played a trick on us. This was Microbubble.”
“Who could have even switched the wrappers?” She asked, as Taffy went back into the box, albeit with slightly more difficulty at her smaller size, only to find no Microbubble wrapped bubblegum. Someone not only switched the wrappers but took all the actual Macrobubble from her store.
“I am not sure,” she said, looking back at Magnolia. “Someone from the island… But, no, no one here would do that.” While the two of them thought and tried to figure out who could have swapped the wrappers, nobody had told Amethyst she was chewing Microbubble.
Part two of Na-Nowhere to hide is finished, featuring many bubblegum blowing besties, now shrinking at the prank they fell into!
