In his later years Therandros Owlwing's moved on from adventuring to a more sedentary lifestyle of raising his stepson. That being said, he hasn't given up his craft, just shifted focus. Now he helps the farmers bring in their crops, tending to the plants and making sure that the harvest comes in on time and is bountiful.
