I created this cover because I deeply admire the story of Simba, the characters, the visual style, and the antagonist, Uncle Scar. I took the opportunity to merge both versions—the remake and the animated film—by depicting Simba as he appears in the live-action remake, interacting with the reflection of his father, Mufasa.

In the background, I drew inspiration from the iconic scene where Mufasa’s ghost appears and says: “Remember who you are. You are my son, the one true king.”Scar, on the other hand, is portrayed as a faded memory, whispering: “Run. Run away and never return.”

This artistic fusion captures the emotional tension between legacy and fear, realism and nostalgia. Although I appreciated the realism of the remake, the spirit of the original Lion King still lives within me.

Plot Summary of The Lion King

The Lion King follows the journey of Simba, a young lion destined to become king of the Pride Lands. After the tragic death of his father Mufasa—caused by his treacherous uncle Scar—Simba flees in guilt and fear.
