Hello everycreature again! After a few weeks of different activities I'm back with a completely new artwork.
If I'm not wrong the new Zootopia's movie is so close and according to the only trailer I've seen (I don't like to see too much about those kinds of things. I want to surprise myself in the theater), it seem that there will be some scenes underwater. I was looking for an excuse to draw some characters in bikini/swimsuit and I also realized I've never drawn something underwater before. So here we are.
The postures and anatomy for this artwork were a huge trouble. Working on the interaction between characters is still one of the hardest things to do for me. I simply didn't have a good idea to implement some interaction underwater, until I thought that it would be curious if they were somehow holding each other so they don't sink. I think the result is decent enough in that aspect. However, my main focus on this artwork was giving a good underwater sensation. I mixed different layers with different gradient effects to create the background and some lights and shadows. It was challenging, but I think it was the best aspect of the artwork. Honestly I feel pretty proud and happy with the result.
I hope you like what I was able to do here and you also can appreciate it! These two are closer than they think hehe.
