In times of old there was a powerful demoness that ravaged the land and stole the life energy of countless victims. In a once in a lifetime chance, a band of mages attacked her when she was at her weakest, during an eclipse that takes place every two hundred years. However, she was too powerful and they were unable to destroy her. Instead they bound her to an inanimate object, a small doll belonging to one of her victims which ironically resembled her. And so the demoness was bound to the small doll, which itself could not be destroyed by mortal means as well, so powerful was this demoness. So to prevent her escape she was to be kept out of direct contact with the rays of another eclipse, or else she might escape and reign over the world again.

The descendants have so far succeeded in preventing her escape but throughout the years they have forgotten the danger of such a powerful being and she was lost. Somehow, in present day, she ended up in the hands of a curio shop owner who carelessly cast her away in a claw game with other stuffed dolls. She waited and bided her time until a young feline eventually won her and took her home with him. Luck would have it, it was the time of another eclipse.

How surprised was he when he awoke to see her as she was. Though, not as surprised as she was when she realized that those accursed mages left another surprise for her! Apparently, for some odd reason, they made it so that if for whatever reason she were to be released, she had to obey the wishes of whoever released her. So now she's bound by contract to Kenny, who kindly gave her the name of Luna in honor of her release, and has to obey his wishes. Although, it doesn't mean that she has to make it easy for him to live with her.

So an ancient life energy sucking demoness living with a modern day bookworm. What crazy adventures will follow?

Luna and Kenny, both drawn by Rubeus, were my first attempt at characters for a novel with a romantic comedy feel. Apparently Luna was popular to spawn more pics of her character to be drawn and I'm planning on bringing her back. The story would also have erotic elements since Luna has to absorb 'life energy' from another entity by the following means.
1. Sucking their blood, something she dislikes.
2. Draining their life force entirely, which'll turn the victim to dust.
3. Taking in their 'essence' through simply, sex. Her favorite approach.

NOTE: Though it wasn't drawn, Kenny would be her first 'victim.' Since she can't directly kill him she can still draw his essence from him via method 3. And being kept in that doll for that many years, she's hungry! After living with her 'master' she's realized that the ancestors of those mages, and other dangers still lurk, so she tries to keep a low profile in the world, feeding only when she has a chance and not killing anyone lest she be discovered again. Luckily for her, there's alot of willing victims that'll let her take what she needs.
