Yeah I was having trouble with the staircase. I chalked it up to not putting down proper perspective lines.
I need to get back to that one WIP I posted with the dark interior to practice putting down solid linework.

Agreed! Though in Red's defense, the staircase in RL is a funny thing to look at from that angle. What's in the pic is actually pretty close to reality. I had a preference in this case, on this piece, for background accuracy (vs better composition), since it's a room in my house *grin*, so I'm quite happy with the result.

I LOVE this! I love that you were able to invent this angle from the /other angles/ I sent you. That really shows a great talent with perspective and orientation. Heck, you even got the back of the TV tilted right, and that wasn't at all obvious from any of the other pics. SUPER job on the background!

And Rooth'roo himself turned out GREAT. Love that expression, and you got his details down pretty well (although really, aside from the deets on the feets and the black eartips, I guess he's an easy subject, yeah?).

Definitely looking forward to revisiting this with you some time. :)
