If anyone’s ever wondered what the opposite of a halfcut was, this is the answer. What I’ve termed an “Offcut”, being the parts that were “cut off” of a halfcut (plus a head for obvious reasons hehe). The other term for this is hemicorpectomy or “hemi”, but “Offcut” makes more sense in the context of my world heh

Latisha Tenorio is a wealthy Costa Rican owner of a travel and tourism company, and has a private island resort she lives and works on near Puntarenas where the Offcut form is enforced heh
Latisha and Sabrina are former lovers, having met during one of Sabrina’s high school “study away” programs. The two found themselves to be a good match, with the “modern” raptor Saurian being a natural hermaphrodite and all. After a couple summers of back and forth seasonal dating between Puntarenas and Yorktown, the two fully parted ways as lovers…mostly. After spending a couple weeks in Bermuda, Latisha became fascinated and outright obsessed with the halfcut form, but more with the idea of flipping the formula around.
Sabrina worked with Latisha on creating a stable “Offcut” form on the two of them, eventually resulting in them both splitting in half along their preferred lines. In the end it was decided that “Rina” (the headless wolf upper half) would stay with “Tisha” (the Offcut). “Lati” (the headless raptor legs) would stay with Sabrina and life in and manage her family’s house on Bermuda. And with cloning still being illegal, Latisha and Sabrina essentially agreed to just permanently swap halves, though with the two extra halves being left in an “independent” state that gives them basic autonomy, like what Sabrina’s lower half can do anyways (or Princeton’s body.) From this Latisha gained two top halves: a raptor and a wolf; and Sabrina a two bottom halves: a wolf and a raptor. Thanks to Sabrina’s shapeshifting ability she would compensate for the loss, with her wolf half able to regenerate the top half and her arms.
So yeah! Sabrina has a spare Offcut form to use every now and then! The two do occasionally swap the spare half’s to try out being the other species (this basically being Sabrina’s Saurian form and Latisha’s mammalian form), but also back to their own parts when visiting each other.
