Duke had been spending a pretty relaxed week, especially with an invite to a tea party with Alice waiting for him at the end. He wasn't sure how to act properly, not with Alice being there, but he was at least happy to spend time with her. Upon arriving at her place, he was swiftly let in, and seated at a low table, a soft cushion acting as his seat, and Alice soon came out with a stack of trays, with snacks on each layer of tray, ranging from some cupcakes, cookies, macarons, cheesecakes, and even some rocky road, brownies with marshmallows in them. It was quite a plethora of snacks, one Duke wasn't sure he could quite finish by himself, but sharing with Alice, who was quite a fair deal larger than Duke naturally, was certainly doable. As the two of them sat and enjoyed each other's company, conversing lightly and having a good time, the two eventually took a bite of some of the snacks. Immediately, there were no signs of any effects, but after eating a fair amount, soon the two became very aware that they were shrinking. Smaller the two became, until Alice could not only sit within, but fit perfectly within one of the teacups. Duke was a lot smaller, having eaten more of the treats, and immediately looked over at Alice.
“What did you put in them?” He asked her, as Alice just blepped.
“Nothing. I don't know how this happened,” she said. Duke shook his head.
“Then why are you so comfortable with this if you don't know.”
“Because now you are VERY tiny!” Alice said cutely, leaving Duke flustered from her comment, and just accepting the answer. Mostly because he knew that even if Alice did know, there was very little chance she would tell him, just to mess with him.
The first of seven parts for Na-Nowhere to hide, featuring Duke and Alice! The treats made them tiny, and now they’re going so see humongous sweets for the month!
