I just think people aren't doing as much as they possibly could with the medium
online you find "cartoonists" or "comic artists" who just have the generic head / body but just change features like hair and eyes
when people are so goddamn amazing to look at, they're so varied, so unique, so different
cartoonists need to enhance not dehance :D
cartoons are a passion of mine as you can tell (well, comedy mainly, cartoons is a close second heheh)

OH I can tell, trust me. I always love looking at your random doodles, even the smaller less 'interesting' ones, still have interesting shapes, expressions, and things to look at. I plan on getting into cartooning some day, I've taken a few animation classes and started to learn the basics, but all the classes I was taking, not a month into going, had all their funding cut so I didn't get to learn that much.
So what exactly do you do? Just draw a bunch of geometric/organic shapes, and add featured to try and Personify 'em?

That already exists in character design theory
round = soft open friendly
square = grumpy, older, set in his ways
triangular = evil sinister
Just think of 'up', the characters there perfectly show it, they took it back to basics
so simple and so beautiful
And by triangular just means lots of strong angles and lines, doesn't have to be a triangle.
They gave muntz a little bit of softnes to him, which shows that he wasn't always what he is now.
I honestly see up as a perfect animated movie
