got REALLY into silksong, he contains a fragment of a dead god in his head :). he is VERY old, older then hollownest and even the Wrym (i hope i spelled that right).
the god in his head is so old that and forgoten the only godly thing left is the vitality, Gimp CANOT die, but not in the same way the Ghost and Hornet does, the god causes a contain stream of a sudo-lifebloob making him rise back to life and if his shell shatters, pulls all the bits back together, he is very tired, he has seen too much, but he is not allowed to rest, never too sleep.... he marks safe spots to rests for pilgrims! :)
