So a random story i decided to remake of my old idea of 'What it's like to be a Pet'. From this older story i made long ago, Where a strange virus effected people and changed them into animal-like people/creatures. Depending on what is random. Nothing is same of two. And the virus could end up killing weak people. (First story part was made before covid. But since covid i used that as a good reference point of how close to death people get on survival chances. This does not have any relation to covid. So don't bash me.)

After that they leave to explore the outdoors for the first time. I didn't go past this since i kinda lost idea after that. But basically point of reference is since their a hybrid/animal-like the idea is them living kinda like a pet, in a not so pet-like way. It's hard to scratch the head at the point but generally point is kinda there ish? Lol.

Here on the revision of the story. We get bit of story background and then into the jump life. Into a new family since the original didn't exactly wanna change their living arrangements just for the new look of them and all the traits with it. So they left. Now living with a family of humans at their own private animal shelter for medium/small animals with other changed alienic transformed people or normal animals. Helping many while living with them.
I wanted this version to dive deeper into the more playful and out going side of the more carefree animal feel then keeping it kinda boring. So i might continue this more. I kinda lost my track of this at near the end so i kinda just slapped a ending point. Hopefully i can return and make some more fun for it. As generally i wanted to really express the letting go animal playful behavior across the family of humans and animal-people that aren't holding their human views so tightly.
As for why i choice to change the main character from a Chinchilla to a standard Mouse. I felt that Chinchilla's aren't as open with others and the fur of them would limit the options of things i could do. So i made them a standard House/Fancy mouse. Which i'll make a lineart edit of their appearance later. But in coloration they look pretty much like this ( Soon to be uploaded Or can look right now at my DA page ( https://www.deviantart.com/raptorrk.....ouse-978588046 ) ). Expect as a 3foot human-like mouse person.
So yeah. What it's like to be a Pet Reversion is go! lol.
