He was a harmless guy, Jess. Mischievous, dark, cryptic at times, but quite harmless. Hell he was even funny, and compassionate. But more than anything, no matter how hard he tried to hide it, he was afraid. Afraid of how he thought the world saw him. Afraid of punishment he felt he may deserve just for being himself. I once thought he even felt fear of what might await him after death. But as he once said to me, “I’m ok with robo-damnation, cuz I’d at least know something awaited me after this.”
