Welcome to page 2, of the comic.

It looks like Ajabu just couldn't keep away from that mysterious cave. I wonder what's in there...
Before he could get any answers, he was called away yet again. But not before something was able to grab him.
I don't think he's done with this cave, yet...
For those who wish to stick with their own interpretations, I will hide the meaning behind spoiler text. You can hold onto that interpretation until this comic series is completed and see if it matches up with what happens later. If you do so, I would be curious to hear what you think about this, in the comments.
For everyone who wants to know: Depression begins as a very slow burn. Your mind is open to the thoughts and ideas that accompany the disease. It slowly starts exploring them, deeper and deeper until the ideas start getting a grip on your thoughts. You slowly start building familiarity with it.
For someone who has never experienced clinical depression, it cannot be understated how much this disease (as well as other mental disorders, I'm sure) becomes a part of your personality. This is especially true, when it hits you during your formative years. You start to lose sight of what life looks like without it. Before you know it, you have no idea who you even are, without the disease. It's a very strange thing. It's why these can be so difficult to overcome. They become so tangled into your psyche that rejecting them becomes a form of rejecting yourself. Most people do not like to reject themselves. But it is the only way to truly overcome living with this.
