From one world to another, Mark shakes hands with Francis Gris, nothing more to add to that.
Valleydog has recently reached 18 completed strips. Of course, such a number is quite random. However, it's the same amount of strips in total that were done within a much longer/much-delayed time-span for my first foray into webcomics - Mark
For those who haven't been watching me since '09, Mark was, technically, a weekly comic about a teenage wolf that updated every Friday/Monday. In reality, the schedule was pretty... erratic; I kept missing the weekly deadline and/or would upload two strips on the same week. Eventually it became so inconsistent that the strips were posted monthly, before I eventually let it pass due to other things going on, and Mark became a character I'd occasionally use.
Instead of letting the Gray Wolf slowly fade away, I figured it'd be nice to atleast give him a proper send-off, a 'passing of torches' in a sense, even if he never achieved as much within the same time-span. If one looks closely, I tried to emphasize the "change of paws"; Mark is, in fact, drawn in a near-similar way to my style in '09, right down to dodge/burn shading.
And Francis floating in mid-air? Just coincidence =P
