Honestly, I think she might be able to redeem herself, but it wouldn't be easy with someone like her but if Surge and Kit can try changing their ways, she can too but she would be a very challenging but not impossible opponent for Sonic and his friends to beat

I understand, just sharing my own opinion, but I'm curious how are Sonic and his friends are going to get Surge and Kit out Saiko and I have a gut feeling she's going to absorb a few of Sonic's friends, so they can't just destroy her outright, not with their friends inside her
