Glory is the first big collaboration between
foxenawolf and myself. She does the linework, and I make it a comic. Basically I draw the panels and do the toning and shading and tweak and move and wiggle people around and just comic it up.
Sam shows up in this dreamscape in his bathrobe because he like being comfortable. Darius is in his old Darnathi military uniform, and Verse is... well... she's pretty confident in her mental picture.
Darius explains things have gotten complicated, Verse tries to be helpful, Sam is pragmatic. Rusty remains a teenager.

Verse is the one in black, is female. And she'd tell you she dresses practical and isn't responsible for the conclusions other people come to ;) She's a dwarf and is middle aged in dwarf years in her mid 500's.
Rusty is the teenager. He appears in this dream sequence as a little alien kitty thing. His species is called a Darnathi and have been loaned to Glory from foxenawolf. Darnathi live about a thousand years and Rusty is a whopping twenty years, so he's barely a teenager by darnathi standards. Which makes him running away all the more wild considering that by darnathi standards he's only two.

Yes thank you. I did not know that about the dwarf. I sure did miss that one.
The kitty thing I did figure out when there was the flashback of him turning human and fighting with his folks.
I also remember him telling them that was his aunt that runs the place. Where they are now. I thought. So that is how I got things confused.
