prowler7's Tannis was walking through a cemetery one night when he unintentionally angered one of the spirits. The mere sight of the creature caused Tannis to die from fright, but that wasn't the end of his troubles. It captured and devoured his soul, one brutal end was not good enough. So this is a commission I've been working on for a long while. It was quite a challenge. I've done transparent things, and glowing things, but never both together. Over all I think it turned out well.

Oh wow. This came out awesome.
From the creature design, to the details of the background, this is an amazing picture.
I love the look to Tannis' body, with his posture and expression beautifully capturing his demise by fright, and the gaze of his ghost back toward his body as it's forced into the ghostly gullet of the creature, is perfect.
The creature itself is wonderful, where that huge, toothy maw and long, creepy arms, make it easy to see how seeing that ghostly form rise up before you, could frighten you to death. The glow of light generated by its form, along with the way it's stuffing Tannis' spirit into its maw, beautifully bring the picture to life; and the look and details to the background are simply fantastic. <3
Just an all-around gorgeous picture. I only hope that any challenges to this pic were in a good way and that you had fun doing it, because the results certainly capture an amazing effort being put into it. Thanks again so much for taking this commission and doing such a fantastic job with it.
