So I have been on a mission this last month or so to listen to every Sonic OST for reasons. Why did no one tell me Sonic CD's soundtrack was amazing? The JP soundtrack alone must have fooled a whole generation into thinking it was an amazing game.
Anyway I decided to canonize making Ehre a fan of the music too (they have never played a Sonic game). And to rep one of my favourite OSTs in the franchise, I had the amazing idea to replicate most covers used for Sonic CD, and the decision was made super easy thanks to remembeing Virizion has one of those fucking Paradox robot clones whatever the fuck they are.
Boy did this work out well. It also was just really fun to scrunch these characters down to Genesis-era proportions.
