He even calls her princess and also fumbles sometimes to get her affection. Her mother is also a rather caring person to her. The only ones that are different to Nelia are her aunts and uncles.

Since they see in Nelia a very powerful woman that can be manipulated to do their bidding. Since her mothers sisters do not like her and her fathers brother even hates her for not wanting to become a brutal countess. Her father actually supports her choice of wanting normal education and even maybe a human as a partner. (Since there is always a chance of the human becoming a vampire)

Now she just goes to a school where normal people and also some monsters go to. The only school that supports that.

She also does make mistakes and can come of as at best weird and at worst apathetic to people, since she rarely interacts with people since her parents often, well, overprotect her.
