I have the feeling that Puss in Boots 3 will end with Puss having to sacrifice his final life to end the final battle and give Kitty a much brighter future after giving the following speech:

"Listen, Kitty. Believe in yourself. Believe in the Kitty that believes in you. Not the Puss you believe in. Not the Kitty I believe in."

Then in a later adventure, Kitty will eventually have to use the following speech:

"Puss in Boots is dead. He's gone. But he's on my feet! In my heart! He lives on as part of me! If you're going to steal stuff, steal the sun, moon, and stars! Even if it's my own grave I'm digging to steal something. Once I've dug through, it means that I've won! Quien carajo crees que soy?!? I'm Kitty. I'm not Puss in Boots. I'M ME! Kitty Softpaws!"
