While running his talons through Gadget's hair, Chaos notices that Gadget has started wearing earrings. He thinks they look good on her, though she has her doubts. And is surprised that he's willing to stroke her hair. They have known each other for a couple of years at this point, and Gadget is still trying to wrap her head around the fact that Chaos showing affection for her.

For gargoyles, stroking/ touching the hair or eye ridges is similar to a human kiss (be it platonic or romantic in nature).
