"Even the mighty can be scared"
As the strongest being in one of the most hostile places in Terraria, there isn't a whole lot the Eater of Worlds fears... Apart from water. Not being able to breathe in there makes them nervous, and it tends to hurt their plethora of eyes. Although, upon the discovery of what goggles are, they were willing to at least try to get more used to it.
With the help of a friend, a lot of work, and a lot of lenses - a couple even needing to be taken from destroyed Wandering Eyes since typical lenses weren't big enough - they were equipped with many pairs of purple goggles. With that, they made their way to a lake in the Corruption, and after a little while of convincing themselves, held their breath and dove down.
Their eyes at least didn't hurt this time, and they could see a lot better too, but needing to hold their breath was still gradually making them nervous. The Eater of Worlds moved to roughly the center of the lake, partly coiling their extremely long body like a snake, and did their best to not panic, watching their bubbles rising to the surface a couple dozen feet away - not that far to them, so they could easily surface if they panicked.
The Eater of Worlds is from Terraria.
And, that ends this Halloween series! Hope you folks enjoyed it, even though none of the monsters I drew are particularly popular for aquaphilia stuff. Still, it was fun to figure out how to make them not be scary, and I hope most ended up cute as well. Happy Halloween!
