Hageshiiomo's Mourning - Page 6
Since the publication of the first pages of the grimoire, the end of October has been a source of inspiration for stories that mortals describe as frightening. We could discuss this term, frightening, and argue that it becomes so because of the dangerous or even deadly aspects of the elements narrated. From then on, reminders of each reader's mortality, of that inevitable end, of that return to the Primordial Void, of that final journey into the unknown... Monsters and incredible tales become receptacles for this fear, giving rise to the vampires and werewolves so dear to human hearts.
However... Even though a sequel to Haunted Heart (Mature) or a new creation based on blood-sucking vampires could have been an idea for this year's story, this time we will remain within the confines of the Manor.
For the darkest stories are sometimes those we carry within ourselves.

Hage's suffering must be one of the most delicious things for Roham. Oh dear Roham, must you be so cruel? Although, I do suppose that from a certain point of view, the corruption and the probably inevitable downfall could be considered a blessing instead...
