Soon, Reimu fell down onto all fours, tail tucked between her legs, letting out her first howl as the spirit left her now-lupine body. Reimu wandered through the forest, getting used to her new body, and eventually, she wandered into the Human Village, walking through the streets, the lamps shining down on her. Soon, her attention was drawn to a poster nailed to a post, and when she got closer, she realized that it was a missing poster with her own face on it. Reimu clawed at the poster, letting out a sorrowful howl. How long was she gone for? Was the Barrier still intact? Was anyone protecting Gensokyo? Would she ever become human again? All Reimu could do was continue to wander around Gensokyo, hoping to find someone or something that could help her.
