Enjoy this little teaser. I'm sure you'll figure it out quick.
The Tale of Two Souls
I remember it like it was yesterday. I had just joined the military and because of some very unfortunate events, I was forced to join. At that time I had never had any friends, didn't know how to make friends, and felt like I couldn't have friends. I was lost in darkness, alone and wished that it would all just work out in the end. If it wasn't for that one person, I'd never made it out off the battlefield or out of my self made hell hole.
"I can't believe that I, a grand prince and noble, am reduced to fighting with these idiots to prove my worth." the tall anthro wolf grumbled as he sat in a military reception station. There was about 100 new recruits, all wearing there military uniforms and also sitting around awaiting to be sent out to train to be a soldier in one of the bloodist wars ever known. The Beast Wars. The wolf might be able to cope with these issues and crowd, if only there wasn't this one human bugging the crap out of him. The wolf was an anthro timber wolf that stood a good 9ft as where the human was white with blond hair and only stood about 6ft. The wolf was very built and to most would look very intimidating, but the scrawny human was competely unafraid and even seemed to enjoy provoking him.
"I said beat It! I don't want to hang around with you or be your friend!" the tall wolf yelled and even bared his teeth and claws very menacely. The Human was unfazed and even smiled a bit.
"Aw Come on. At least tell me your name? Your sitting here all by yourself and between you and me, it is kind of sad." he laugh as he admitted. His tone just pissed off the wolf more and he started to feel a frenzy boil up in him. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fist for a bit.
"Look, I'll tell you my name and then you tell me yours and then we can hang, chat, train, and have fun ya!" the little human cheered. The wolf was not amused. It wasn't like he didn't want any friends, it was just that he has been going thru a lot of hardships and was forced to come to the military. He just didn't know how to execpt this person and was confused about how he could just execpt him so easily. This human didn't know him or what he really was. So with all this, he just was a little on edge and wanted to left alone..
"Look you little pest! I don't know what your deal is, but if ya don't quit you might regret it. I'm going thru a lot of stuff right now and I would like to left alone! You don't won't to be my friend anyway." the wolf explained.
"Well then you really really need a friend to help you! Friends fix everything and I'm sure that with some friends..." The wolf turned and growled, warning the human that it was time to go. The wolf hated to do it as he did want a friend, but he didn't know who to trust or how to be a friend. The human justed shrugged and finally walked away with his hands slightly in his pockets.
"Fine fine I just didn't want you to look all weak thats all." the human sighed. That did it and the wolf stood up from his sit and growled.
"Did you just call me... ...WEAK!" he snarled. The human turned his head and continued to walk away with a unfazed expression.
"Sorry, but I call them as I see them and because of how your acting I don't see much out of you. Unless you can get over yourself, you will never be able to fix your problems and grow stronger. So ya I'm calling you weak and that sucks because I know you can be strong-OOF!" the human was cut short as he walked into a group of anthro bears, specifically the biggest one. The bear stood 10ft of pure power and at the moment, rage.
"HEY, shrimp bisket, watch where your going. Now get down and beg for forgiveness before I pound ya!" The big bear yelled. The wolf wanted to watch the smart-ass human get pounded, but he had a moral code and he didn't like where this was going. That bear was huge and one hit might be enough. He might like to see the human get hurt, but not mauled or killed. He moved to intervene, but was shocked to see what came next. The human just turned and gave a very annoyed face.
"You interrupted my conversation dumbass and I never heard a weakling give orders to their superiors." The Human snickered. The bear went mad and swung a devastating punch at the human at full force. The blow crushed the ground and made a big puff of dust occur. The bear was snickering.
"Hehe, lets see you talk now that... ...your... ..Crushed!" The bear was shocked as he suddenly felt nothing besides concrete underneath his fist.
"What! Where did you-UGH!" The bear was stunned as he felt something heavy smash on top of his head. As the dust cleared it showed the human had just drop kicked on the bear's head with his hands in his pockets and a bored look on his face. The human simply removed his foot off the bear's head and started walking towards the wolf like nothing happened. Then the bear fainted. Everyone who was watching was stunned and fully focused on what was occuring. The wolf was also surprised.
"Look, as I was saying yo, I might have gone a bit to far, but I can't stand people who are strong that put themsevles in a weak state. It stops them from moving forward like they are chained to their problems. I know your strong, but you just got too many things holding you down." The human explained. The wolf was stunned as this humans words made sense. He was also amazed that he was able to read him almost like a book.
"Just who are you?" the wolf asked. But before the human could answer, 5 of the bear's buddies surrounded them.
"You'll pay for that! And you, wolf, this your friend?" the bear barked. The wolf looked back at the human.
"I hope I won't regret this. I guess so and if you want him, you got to take me on too!" The wolf smiled and raised his fists. The human was overjoyed.
"Come on Bring it!" the human yelled and with that a glorious fight began. The bears charged in with punches and grabs, but were countered by the wolf's powerful fists and the human's deadly kicks. No matter how hard they tried, none of the bears could catch the human. The human would repeatetly kicked in the same place with shocking precision and even the mighty bear were unable to withstand them. The wolf was able to counter and throw any attack the bears threw at him and send them flying. The human and wolf were a perfect team and before they knew it the demolished the bear gang . The wolf sat down and looked at the human, surprised about how strong this little human was. He wasn't near as strong phyiscally compared to him, but his technique and speed was unheard of and it made him a very powerful opponent. Plus the wolf felt a powerful type of aura that emitted from him like his spirit and willpower were unbreakable. Theyt both looked at each other and laughed. The human raised his hand to help the wolf up. As the wolf got up, the human saw one of the bears pull out a knife and charge. The human leap behind the wolf and using his hand stopped the blade. The blade went straight thru and the bear then punched the human sending him flying. The wolf enraged grabbed the bear by the throat and lifted him up like he weighed nothing. Then he threw him 15ft and thru a window. He then rushed over to see if the human was alright and to his surprise he was already getting up.
"Why did you do that!?" The wolf barked. The human made a angered expression.
"Dink! Why wouldn't I try to save my friends!? You always save your friends no matter what!" The human yelled back.
" Save your Friends? But you don't even know me!" the wolf barked.
"You don't have to know someone to be their friend! That's the point of becoming friends so that you can know them. That's the freedom of friendship!"the human laughed. The wolf stared at the human's hand that was bleeding greatly, but the wound didn't seem to faze the human at all. The wolf finally seemed to come out of the darkness and see that this person just risked his life for his. He now knew what it was like to have a friend and it was great. The wolf walked over to the human and finally asked.
"My name is Terra and you are?" Terra laughed
"Jordan, Jordan Fox from Fratoon." the human proudly replied.
