I volunteer with a butterfly conservation group who is focusing on the endangered Oregon and Behren's Silverspot butterflies, and I was commissioned by the head lady to draw an oregon silverspot warrior ^ v^
((she's protecting the caterpillars from cutworms and slugs))

Also they only eat young violet leaves, hence the violets

but we released 471 catarpillars this year! And won a couple of pretty prestigious conservation awards, so it's like... we're doing stuff and it's working
