I had a huge urge to redraw a character from a fan comic I drew back over a decade ago that was inspired by the Thing-Thing 2 intro, I found this through some old messages from someone I know and I NEEDED to give this guy a serious makeover, so I got to work!

A little bit of context, Sam, in the old snippet from my old comic was one of my human(?)iod Thing-Thing characters that was the leader of a small resistance group and had to fight an opposing team to progress to the BBEG. But now, he's no longer "Sam", but Kaine, a vampire experiment with the twisted DNA of a bat creature (a little nod to Monster Hunter for the Nightshade Paolumu idea as you can see in his wings, face markings and neck puff), causing him to reek havoc in the System Corps' building for his freedom and discovering who he is and why he was "brought back from the ashes".

This design was SUPER fun to recreate, I've always wanted to bring his design to life, but with the Thing-Thing style? It really pops out and I love it so much! (I think my inner teenage self would be over the moon to see this remade!)
