Behind Routes 111 and 113, these two were always tied for my 3rd favorite route theme and still are. I honestly cannot decide which one I like more, so I threw them together into one arrangement. Didn’t put a lot of effort into making it sound all that different from the originals, but then, the Route 113 remix was the same way, and the result here is just as good.
I know a lot of people complain about how overused the brass instruments were in the R/S/E soundtrack, but to be honest, I love brass, and I love the actual themes, with or without brass. In the case of the later route themes, however, orchestra remixes with brass seem to work better in making a more “powerful” theme.
But then, that’s just what I think, and I haven’t been doing this long.

I was able to get to Lucy eventually (sveral times), but her fucking Shuckle always got me.
I got to the Factory Head guy (Noland?) after about 2 days of trying but he got in a lucky shot that just barely made me lose.
I got to Tucker and lost epically.
I was never even able to get halfway through the other places... The freaking Pyramid is what gave me the most trouble. Urgh.

Along with... 208 I think, 118 is the only split route in a specific region that has a specific theme for each side of it, sharing 110's theme near Mauville and 119's on the other side of the river. 208 has 205's on one side and 210's on the other. This just makes me want to play RSE again, damn it! I miss RSE!
