38mm Resin Fursuit Eyes

made the resin parts (he's quite good at it) but apparently I fail at assembling them :( The backing got pretty messy so I'm going to keep them for myself.

That ring around the cornea-area is from a defect in the mold we were using so we're going to be making a new one (I would be way too ashamed to use these in anything but a personal costume).

i think the rings make them look somewhat like contacts, or like the lens on the outer part of the eye.

I don't see anything wrong with the rings! ^^ I think they came out great in your gryphoenix head. I actually didn't even notice the ring until you said something! <3

Do you pour the resin in, and befor it is dry put the printed eye over it? Or is there a magical method i cant seem to figure out?
