It's a bit tough for these serpentine lava dwellers to get around on land, but of course they don't need to; the Magmoor Caverns the eponymous magmoors live in has plenty of submerged channels for them to swim through to reach most of the area. While the time they can spend under the surface is certainly limited, most have trained enough in both swimming and holding their breath to safely navigate anywhere they please.
Magmoors are from Metroid Prime.
