Born and raised in a small southern community where life was slow and simple. No matter how sheltered his upbringing was, the stories of the bustling city and life outside the southern panhandle always managed to get into his ears. So when the opportunity to get a job out in the west came, Colby was quick to pack his bag and venture out there.

Colby is naturally curious about the world outside of his own, meaning he's very interested in others. Everyday things like technology, politics, modern culture, and romance amaze him. He almost acts like a child seeing something for the first time. He is surprisingly open-minded and willing to see and try most things even if he doesn't understand it. The culture shock for Colby was big, but luckily he made friends who helped him understand and learn this new way of life, even if they made fun of him about it.

Despite living in the city for about 3 years, his southern roots haven't left him. Colby is naturally hospitable; he has a talent for making strangers feel welcomed.
