Finally returning back to some uploads, the backload is beckoning- in any case! More of this guy, ehehe...
This was a raffle reward on twt/X from Zeberka! One of the few times I entered raffles, and I'm so glad to have received because Zeberka just went FULL thematic with this one, her Monster Hunter designs and pieces fit the setting so well!!

As for this piece, it just fits the atmosphere of "wilderness" so incredibly well. Vibrant warm lighting with a bit of foggy or mist, the hints of the foliage and tree bark, and then of course the bright colors and beaming joy on this silly heckn thing's snout. Kai is very much a ":D" individual, look at em go! What a discovery for the curious beast! [The discovery in question: 🐛]

That expression singlehandedly elevated the feeling of this piece, it was already so high-quality with the details of physical atmosphere and composition. Add onto that the twisty and very Tobi-Kadachi-esque climbing pose on the tree, how winding that body and long tail is as well as the agility in clinging to the bark... but seeing that joyous mug and even a bit of glow from the fire-affinity present on the eyes, so many details are so evident to see here, and that is exceptional to see. Zeberka put in so much effort and independent twists on my character, and I am still so honored by it.
