I didn't know what to draw for this one, so in the end I went for a Mesoamerican jaguar. Obsidian is also called "volcanic glass", after all, so it's not completely unrelated :P
On a side note, I absolutely love the Macuahuitl (sword-club), it's one of my favourite weapons, and I'm heartbroken the only specimen in good condition was lost in a fire, together with the last known Tepoztopilli (polearm).

I like this one. The armor is another nice touch.
Also: Thanks for pointing out that there was once a real Macuahuitl in a museum -> I was able to find a photo of that --> yeesh, I had no idea how huge these things were!
