Silver's quills were bristling, face and ears completely red, and eyes wide open as he was so obviously in distress. Just moments before, he was doing such a good job saving Sonic's phone from being thrown in the lake. He had figured out that by opening it and taking off a few components to get the water out of the device and letting it dry, he could pretty much fix it, and that had shown to be extremely effective, as once he was done putting it back together and pressed the button on the side, the phone came back to life. His mistake? Wanting to test if the touch was working.
By poking around the screen, he accidentally managed to unlock the phone, and what he saw next was... Well, the last thing Sonic had seen before yeeting the phone away. And sadly, after a moment of silence as his brain processed what he was seeing, Silver had the exact same reaction, though this time, it was his powers that sent the phone flying straight into the wall. The phone had been reduced to only a few broken parts, now lying on the floor.
When he heard someone walking in, he quickly looked over, just like a deer caught in headlights, unable to even say a word. He had never thought of Shadow looking like... Like that, actually, he never imagined anyone in not even a remotely close scenario, it was something that didn't really cross his mind. And now he could only wish he didn't have that image of the darker hedgehog stuck in his brain.He saw the selfie...
