Everything was going fine until he broke out the ACME boxing gloves!
Hey, everyone! I’m still alive! And to prove that I’m still alive, I’ve brought you all another Kennel Match piece! This time one of my friends DM’d me and asked to see Sam Sheepdog from Looney Tunes step into the ring with one of my dogs alongside another character I may or may not use for a future art piece. Like a lot of people, I grew up watching Loony Tunes (particularly through compilation episodes on TV) and I’ve watched plenty of shorts featuring this dog and his wolf adversary/colleague as a result (even if they largely felt like rehashed Wile E. Coyote concepts and plots).
Art was done by https://bsky.app/profile/cinnamarsh.bsky.social over on Bluesky. This was actually their first time drawing a fight scene like this and I think they really pulled it off. They’re super accommodating, affordable and drew this piece in no time so if you’re interested, go pay them money to draw more pretty landscapes and scrappy boxers.
