Shortly after sundown in Lumiose City, and after many had gone home for the day, with the remainder of the staff in place to monitor Mega Energy levels, a robot was left active on an upper floor of the Quasartico facility. Rolling about and checking security devices, as well as making sure computers were turned off for the night, the shiny colored Chespin machine encountered a stranger in a hood and mask. Not really typical burglar attire, but also not exactly a hacker type, whoever it was clearly did not want to be seen on cameras, and seemed completely unaware of the presence of the machine in front of them.
"Hey! No unauthorized people in the building, if you don't leave right now..."
The female voice coming from the machine was soon replaced with electronic noises as a device was attached to its body, disrupting its speech, but also most any other functions. In its vision, which was still briefly working, the figure leaned down to speak.
"You made me use my only one. Your plan will fail, and your company will fall."
The vision soon failed, and the figure would move on, leaving the disabled robot alone, ironically near a security panel that had just had its wires cut, disabling quite a few cameras.

Partly inspired by my previous post, and partly inspired by a recent playthrough of Perfect Dark, someone stuck an ECM Mine to Maple.
The in-game description says: "A focused white-noise jamming device, capable of simulating one of many common electrical faults in any system to which it is directly attached."
It's used in game to disable a security console for some time, disabling cameras to allow you to access areas you shouldn't be in.
So basically, this is being used to disrupt Maple's systems and disable it in place. It could be for cheating, for breaking into an area nobody should be in, or something else. It's probably not enough to fry its electronics, but at least enough to cause some issues, then force a reboot.
Also, I haven't played through the entirety of Legends Z-A yet. The story above came from my understanding of the game up to a certain point. Plus this isn't supposed to be canon anyway.
