Another voretober piece, this one for someone who has been a amazing inspiration for me, featuring his mimic character Homer, who decided that the roofers Jake called to fix him up without telling him were too tasty to ignore. Hope you all like it. ^^
It was a nice cool day in the neighborhood. Not a quiet one though, as 3 roofers were making lots of noise on top of a roof. They needed to make sure this house's roof won't leak, so they are giving it a retiling for the owner so he can be safe and dry. However, it seems like Jake didn't give them a warning about the place he had. One that would have been really important to know beforehand, especially as one of the roofers seemed to have disappeared. As the other two searched around for him, assuming he must have been pranking them, the second one suddenly felt something wet and slimy on his leg, only to see that the gutter drain pulling them in. The last one freaked out as they tried to get away, the second person being swallowed down with little effort as the tongue reached for the last one, sending them all down into the gutter where they struggled in fright, before Homer the mimic used his hammerspace powers to hide all their struggles, them only able to muffledly yell for help as they were safely kept within. Homer licked his lips in satisfaction as he relaxed, happy to take care of those suspicious individuals. They would be let out eventually, though since Jake won't be home for hours, it won't be for a while until he could even start to be convinced to let them go. But until then, he will enjoy their struggles, belching as he enjoyed the tasty prey within his hungry gutter.
