Shadow glanced over to Mari and watched her signing. He thought about what she was asking, then looked to Sonic with a smug expression. "Yes, I could lift him as many times as I please."
Sonic looked over and raised an eyebrow, "... Why are you looking at me like that?"
It only took a moment for Sonic to figure out what Shadow was about to do next, and the struggle that ensued was filled with Sonic laughing as Shadow sat up to reach over Mari and grab him by his back quills. The newfound strength that Shadow was still getting used to allowed him to easily scruff Sonic and pull him over Mari.
With one hand between Sonic's back quills and the other at the base of his tail to keep him curled slightly, Shadow easily lifted him over his head as he sat up. It was something he could have done before his new mutations, but not for more than a few seconds really. But right now, he hardly felt any strain on his muscles as he looked down at Mari with a confident smirk. "Easy..."
Sonic felt particularly glad Shadow couldn't see his face right now as he kept his arms and legs tucked close. His entire face was red, along with ears, neck, even the top of his shoulders. He couldn't do anything about the nervous chuckles and the blur his tail had become as Shadow lifted him up a few times though.
Roleplay scene, they're silly sometimes.
