Someone once said that if a giant was to take the earth in his hand and rub it, despite all it's towering mountains and bottomless abysses, they would find it as smooth as a cue ball, in fact much smoother and slicker than any cue ball ever manufactured. Kaos when he first heard of that theory found it amusing, silly even, chuckling at the mere thought that this blue ball of rocks, water and trees, hurtling through the vaccum of space, buzzing with life for him to torment whenever he saw fit could be so smooth and soft to the touch. Nevertheless, the more he thought about it the harder he found it to dismiss, growing more and mure about it, the words tugging at him constantly, floating in mind to the point of obsession.

He had to test that theory and perhaps if he could have some fun doing so where was the harm. That's what he told himself as his massive paw barreled down upon the earth, breaching the atmosphere without as much as a drop of swet, smashing into the ground with trumendous force, flatteing everything that dared to stand in his way, the impact powerful enough to send debries soaring skyhigh, raining down for miles, spreading destruction around at an unpressended scale. And to his dismay he found the ground, the planet itself soft, smooth and warm under his soles, the tall, towering mountain peaks alignd like sharp, jagged spikes challenging him to step on them barely registering under his paw; It was as if there was nothing, nothing but a perfectly smooth, slick surface under his scales, especially now with all the damage he had caused, the realization urging him to continue, to explore, something he'd more than happily do.
