You know what's bullshit in D&D?

There's no playable canine race.

It's kind of weird, isn't it? We get two feline races - 1 for house cats & 1 for big cats - but no canines? I feel like it'd be so easy to make a dog race, with subraces based on the categories breeds fall into - Pointers, Trackers, Retrievers, Herders and such - as opposed to individual breeds and have them very from small to large (or even just medium for size) and boom! Maybe a bite attack or maybe get bonuses for being near party members since dogs are pack animals.

I like to think Walnut here - or just Wally - is a former soldier who followed orders like a good dog. And it lead to his pack's deaths. Thus, he vowed to never again wield a blade and lives as a traveling mistral.

Good thing his vow said nothing about clubs...
