This was something I threw together in a day when I really just wanted to draw something cute.
The reason for my interest in Snake Charmers is the fact that, in cartoons and some other media, they are almost always seen clad in loincloths that greatly resembled diapers. Being the diaper brain I am, that was enough for me to like them. Since the turbans also resemble diapers, that also gave me the idea of a character slipping off their diaper and putting it on their head to disguise themselves as someone with similar garb in the area.
I do like how Leon’s body came out. His torso came out shorter than I normally draw it, which is good since it gives him more of a toddler-like appearance, though I should probably start drawing the limbs thicker since toddlers do have chubby limbs. I don’t have too many references for diaper-like loincloths (at least cute ones), though even if I did I’d still probably draw it thicker than it’s meant to be for absorbency purposes, something I frequently do with Fundoshis as well.
Visual Description:
Leon stands there clad in a dark-beige colored loincloth that is wrapped around the waist and tucked in between the legs on the front. He holds out a snake charmer’s flute with his left hand while resting his right hand on his waist. He wears a partially folded disposable diaper on his head like a turban. He has a confident expression with an open mouth. The background is a gradient that resembles a setting sun color scheme.
