Oh Yucca! I love Yucca. I love using the fibers from the leaves to weave things. I once caught a sizable striped bass on a hand fishing line I wove out of Yucca fibers with a hook I carved out of wood and a stone sinker. The roots are edible too, as are the flowers. The chopped up root acts as a soap too.
