It's a martial art themed convention, but why stop at just Kungfu?
Combination of cockfighting and pencak silat.
This has been a trial, ruined half a dozen times from trying to get the wing colors right, and yet it still came out so simple-looking.

FUN FACT: Phillipino 'sabong' is pretty brutal. They would strap knives to where the spurs are, every so often there's a victory by decapitation or stab to the heart (though I recall the rules are even if one chicken is down, if the victor doesn't peck the loser's corpse, it's not a win)

In my highschool arts history class, I learned the rural bumpkins ran a version of sabong, steel spikes were used instead of outright blades.
