Introducing a new OC, an enigmatic Ekino shrouded in mystery, the Blind Oracle Minerva
Note: Reminder, 'Ekino' is the name of the race of Ponies on my universe; the Lands of Mysterra
Inside a solitaire cavern deep in the woods resides an enigmatic recluse figure, a seemly harmless old blind Ekino who goes by the name of Minerva, always covered in heavy old robes and walking around with a strange staff
At first glance she would pass as just some eccentric old woman, living away from any form of civilization, nothing unusual when you think about it, however, those who've met her can tell Minerva is anything but ordinary, as it's rumored among towns near the woods that Minerva is actually an Oracle with the actual power to look into the future and the destiny of those who visit her
The issue is that one couldn't tell for sure at first glance since Minerva would seem to be an old senile Ekino with a few screws loose in her head, those who had visited her cave will tell she's constantly talking and rambling nonsensical things, you couldn't tell for sure if she's even talking or addressing you at all, however, many claim that her words are really interpretations of events to come, predictions she makes on her very own enigmatic language
Minerva seems to be kind hearthed, she's never violent or aggressive to those who visit her, many claim they've seen her tend to forest animals and some folk had ctually taken their sick children to the old Ekino, children who seemingly recovered quickly after she whispered some strange words on their ears and feed them some herbs. Minerva might seem off putting, but she's actually a nice person, or at least that's what most people like to believe
Now, here comes the real strange thing about Minerva, many people have claimed they saw wings underneath her robes, this would imply Minerva is an Ekino with both a Horn and wings, the thing is that Ekinos like that don't exist on Mysterra at all. Ekinos are either regular ones, not much different form horses, with wings whom can fly or with horns who have a natural affinity with magic, some Ekinos might even have scales instead of furr, but there's never been any record of one with both Wings and a horn, there are elusive mentions of Ekinos with Wings and Horns on old legends, however, those mentions talk about them being a form of royalty or even divinity, regardless, these stories have always been perceived as mere myth and little more than fairy tales
Minerva is indeed an enigmatic figure who seems to be holding more than one secret, what would those secrets be? That would be a story for another time~
