Robots In Disguise: Blind Spot
Okay, last one! But I'm entitled to be a bit self-indulgent, no? After nearly a two-year search, I finally got a new car this weekend. So this is me, pimpin' MY ride. And it's actually a lot like me: compact, efficient, sporty but not hugely fast or powerful, made in Japan.
First person who comments that Dev is a tight fit in it WILL get smacked.
I also devised a name I am surprised has never been used: Blind Spot. Which is quite appropriate, since after ten years in an SUV, I'm unused to the fact that this car DOES have a blind spot.
Coincidentally, I had come up with the transformation scheme several years back for other purposes, but it's only useable on a four-door compact. What a coinkydink. Completely unique, too.
I also discovered my car is a pain in the butt to draw...

This one is definitely the best so far, the details are pretty cool and you look pretty nice as a transformer. I also forgot to mention that I like how you have the "Transforming Instructions" as the background on these pics, nice touch. But we 80's kids had a 6th sense for transforming the transformers without the instructions. If you ever admitted that you used the instructions, you'd be a laughingstock.
Oh I'm sure that Mr. Dev will fit just fine in it. Just needs to do some do some adjusting to the seat and I'm sure he'll find the ride to be quite nice.
You may smack me for that but I couldn't help going around what you said NOT to do :P so I apologize for it. Sorry.
The car looks great though, sir, very sporty, not to big, aerodynamic, and good color. I know nothing about cars though so that's as much as I can base off a picture, but still it looks good and hope the car serves you well for many years to come. It's a cool transformers thing, and it is well done, thanks for sharing it with us.

Any torment you can actually subject me to will have been worth my joke around what you said not to say :P
Welcome though, I know nothing about cars either, my opinion is if they can get you from point A to point B without breaking down, bursting into flames, or making noises that sound like gun fire then it's good. I'm sure though you'll get at least 4 to 6 years out of it at least. :)

I think they're neat, but I'm obviously biased towards the whole Transformers thing. And I can see how some people might get tired of them. The concept will still be around in the future if you want to use it again.
You're right it doesn't match him physically. I'd have figured he drove some sort of truck or SUV.

Looks good.
And is this the last one because you're losing interest, or because you think people will get annoyed?
Because I think these are rather cool.
I don't know who Dev is, but I'm still going to say he's a tight fit in it, because I'm sure I'm not the first to say it. :P

Worse still if he's suddenly startled from behind...because instead of 'fluffing'...
*suddenly Autobot Blind Spot, in the midst of sketching out a new design spec, gets a slap on the back from friendly Hydauliox*
::Hydrauliox:: "HI BLINDSPOT!!"
::Blind Spot:: "Agh!" *airbags deploy spontaneously - face obscured by puffy airbags, Blind Spot turns in Hydraliox's general direction and says:: "I hate you sooo much."

But so worth it. ^^
Oy, you and Nieve. ::Smirks and Shakes head:: You two have such naughty thoughts. ;-p All I've seen was from PHOTOS. Wait...that doesn't sound right either now does it. XD
Really? Well it's good to see the bushiest and sly fox all TF'd up now. ;-D Hurhurhur, though the fan characters sound like fun ta see. ^^

I didn't actually think of the size of the car correlating to you, or any issues this might, ah, raise for Dev until you said something, so you have only yourself to blame. :P And I actually laughed more at you, like the car, being "made in Japan". :P
That is indeed a unique thing you did with the doors, and it's also a neat-looking car. (I say this since I really know nothing about cars and to a point, other than their colors they all the look the same to me. :P )

Let's just say I wish I had test driven it here with him in it. I'm sure he'll be fine, but we may not ever be able to get passengers in it
Thankee. I don't know much about them other than their looks. People think I'm a car person but when it comes to FIXING one, I got nuthin'.

What car is it? It looks like a Toyota Matrix I'm jealous of all the different models you get in the USA :( We don't get the CRZ, or the two door Civics or the nice front and rear details you guys get >.< Nor the Nissan Versa, Sentra, or Altima >.<
I remember testdriving every Corolla from 1994 to 2008 before settling on a 1998 Sedan 1.8L model which oddly enough was assembled in Australia from local and imported parts. It was one I could see easily out of plus I was able to feel all corners when sitting it. Then I replaced all brake rotors, brake pads, springs, shocks, poly bushes, tierod ends, overhauled the steering rack, chucked on a bigger rear swaybar, increased the front caster, imported a set of konig rewind 15" wheels from the US, slapped on a set of Yokohama S drive tyres, changed all the fluids and filters, ignition wires, irridium spark plugs, filled it full of high octane, replaced all the speakers and fitted an Alpine head unit with a USB connection in the glove box :D It drives just how I like for a daily driver ^.^ Nice and zippy but comfortable enough for long trips. I have a MX5 (Miata) mark 1 which is awaiting mechanical restoration (It drives okay but needs suspension work, brakes and clutch work)

Ex mentioned. But yeah, I did actually like the looks of the Matrix (as well as the Mazda 3, which you guys may or may not get) so when this one came out I was all SCORE.
Interestingly the Altima was the runner-up here. But how can you NOT get the Sentra? o.0 I thought that was their ubiquitous little compact.
Okay, I have a rant for YOU I found about this car through an Australian friend since it was just released this year. YOU guys get more options and colors on this model than WE do (or at least earlier). There's apparently a nice navy blue (and an ice blue which I didn't like) not available here
Oy. See, I don't fix cars, so that'd be waaaay too much for me @.@ Kewl beans though. Yeah, I think iv'e seen some of your car posts. I do like the way the Miata looks, but I wanted something a bit LESS sporty.

Whoa a Lexus ay? O.O It looks like a stylish, nicely finished car are you used to driving it about? They cost at least $10K more here on the base model. Wow you mean we get more things than the US on a car whose brand that was setup up especially to ship to the US? We do get pretty much all the Mazda models here which is interesting, but yes the Sentra doesn't get a look in, we get the weedy Tiida and the cutesy lil Micra. Hehe the Sentra would be considered midsize in Australia I think.
My choice of lexus would be the first LS400 ^.^ or it's equivalent JDM counterpart Toyota Celsior however with petrol prices being what they are and rego costs through the roof on V8s it's not a sensible choice for a daily driver. I'm a bit old fashioned in my tastes so I like a car to age a bit and see how it looks then :) Your choice is much more practical for a car that's a bit of an allrounder.
The Miata mark 1 is nice and simple and an absolute ball to drive but not a good choice if you want anything with luggage, passenger or shopping space. Plus they are old now and unless you've been keeping everything up to date perhaps not as reliable or efficient as newer cars. I like making the lights go up and down for little kids who wave from cars :D I'd like to install light controls so I can make single lights to go up and down like it's winking :D
My latest car drawings haven't been as modern as yours though I"m afraid :)

I saw the base price, but I wasn't sure how much of that is exchange rates and all. IIRC they were initially not even going to release the CT200 in the US at all, and it was a last-minute decision to do so.
Midsize? Wow, cars really ARE bigger here...
My father had the LS400, though I don't think it was a V8. Definitely was an excellent car, he wanted to keep it longer but mumsie is paranoid about old cars. I think as a V6 it had pretty decent mileage.
Honestly, I don't drive around others much, a little car would've been fine. I guess I do need to be more practical now.
But heh! I always did like cars with popup headlamps, never had one!
Honestly, I like 80's sports cars best...nice and angular. Like my men However, Transformers are notoriously preoccupied with ensuring their toys are "cool" cars, so I had to update the models here

At the mo the Australian dollar is a bit higher than the US, ah the wonders of living in a small market >.<
I'm pretty sure the LS400 was a V8 400 being the 4.0L , powered by the still popular 1UZ-FE toyota engine. That engine has been fitted to many things it was never installed in XD A company here stuck a supercharged version into the first Miata for some odd reason. My brother's Toyota Soarer (lexus SC400) had it in, lovely motor, so smooth.
Did your dad have the LS or the ES? ES300 had the 3.0L V6 but the car looked different.

As long as you didn't punt it about it should've returned a fair mileage, it had a very low drag coefficient in its day.
80's sports cars ay? Anything in particular?... wait angular men? wouldn't that be all cheekbones like a young Mick Jagger o.O

Oy ^ ^;;
Actually I have no idea now! I don't remember which year he bought it (it was in the 90's...sometime...) so I'm having trouble IDing it visually based on the model. I only drove it a couple times but it was niiiiice. Push the pedal and it did ANYTHING you wanted.
Not THAT kind of angular I mean more in the "stripper" type, as opposed to the twink type so popular now (THANKS, Twilight...)
Oh, I just remember all the typical supercars (Countach, Testarossa, etc). Usually things with flat hoods and flipup headlamps And I picked up on quite a few from Transformers, which I guess were borderline 70's initially.
