this prompt was to draw our first character in the line up as a pokemon character! we couldve picked any gen, but i wanted to do the classic gen 1 ken sugimori look.
syrup naturally translates into a pokemon very well. i tried to keep in mind the gen 1 design philosophy of keeping the concept very simple (goo snail) but they still ended up turning out a lot like the goodra line. oops!
