After a few months of working on redesigning my OC I am finally done with it and wanted to celebrate by making illustration with use of a new design and I can say that I am happy with the results, especially not having worked on any complex scene in all too long.

Serpentine bracelet?
It's an artifact he found in sealed tomb that had a form of staff but upon contact came to life and wrapped itself around his forelimb. He has very poor understanding of it and is simply just ignorant of what it really does. All he knows is that it is strongly associated with necromancy as he bacame more proficient in it ever since obtaining it.

Xelrah looks awesome! Im really really loving the new looks! It still very recognizable of the former appearance yet it seems like a more mature-ancient looking Xelrah!
The crown of horns is beautiful, i love their shapes and the new scale patterns are also imposing and very fluid!
Ever since i saw a WIP of the new reference i got really curious and am super looking forward for more! Xelrah looks like an ancient dragon straight from DnD and i love the dark necromantic thematics a lot!
This art is also so beautiful! Sinister dragons on castles is one of my fav things to see!
