The bases that came with the models were these solid 50mm resin bases with small flight stems. I used instead 100mm bases to help with the weight and so I can use magnets on the bases. I also descided to not used the flight stems due to the weight of the models because they are blocks of resin and I wasn't sure if they would be enough.
